Miss Y'all!

To all my Siestas,
I wanted to tell you all what a wonderful time I had in San Antonio and how grateful I am to have met you all. I made some dear friends in just a few short days and I plan to keep those friendships forever. Every single woman I met has a dear place in my heart and I feel so blessed for the time we had together.

I would also like to request your prayers for my mother. My mom was in a car accident in 1987 which left her paralyzed from the chest down. She is bound to a wheelchair, but she is a strong, independent and beautiful woman with a spirit to match. She has been ill for a couple of weeks and her illness has stumped the doctors (she's good at that!). So, on Monday, she was admitted to the hospital for testing. In the hospital they will be doing a CT scan along with multiple other tests to determine a diagnosis. The doctor feels that surgery may be necessary and because of her disability, surgeries are riskier than usual. Please pray for a simple diagnosis and that surgery is not needed.

Again, it was wonderful meeting you all and I am so looking forward to seeing you in the future!

Love,
Elizabeth (Beth)

P.s. I'm happy to report that I had no sore muscles on Sunday after my shenanigans with the splits!

Oh Elizabeth,

Meeting you and spending time with you this weekend was such a treat. I'm stopping now to pray for your mom...

(Lord, give the doctor's clear vision and wisdom from you as they make a diagnosis. All healing comes from you and we ask for you to reach down and heal Elizabeth's mom today. Ease any discomfort and repair anything broken. In Jesus' name, Amen.)

...and to thank God for our time together.

Much love,

Joanne

P.S. So glad you didn't hurt yourself with the most amazing and enthusiastic splits ever!!

I'm praying for your Mom. Keep posted on how I can pray for her.

It was really great meeting you in SA. Can't wait to get together in our home turf--St. Louis.

Much love,
